This cute little bottle of essential oils has cost you a lot. Problem is, you don’t know how to use it. And, truthfully, you’re afraid of this little bottle. It’s super concentrated and you need to use it wisely. Keep your wits about you! It is easier than you might think to use essential oils to improve your health. You will find the answers you are looking for in this article. Most people say that they bought essential oils many years ago but never opened them. They don’t know what to do with them or if they are still good. First, email me a list with the oils you have and the manufacturer (or search online). This will allow me to locate the manufacturer and tell if your oil has been cut or therapeutic.

    Read the Labels

If you have a magnifying lens, you can read the labels. If it lists anything other than an essential oil name, it is cut. If it does not include key words such as therapeutic or EOBBD test, it is cut. It is important to note that aromatherapy or 100% pure don’t necessarily mean much. They can be labeled as 100% pure according to aromatherapy or perfume rules, but they must contain less than 20% essential oil. I can help you determine the best use of this or that blend once you have emailed me your list. If you only have singles, you can find out how to use them in our library section. You can also e-mail me, I love to help newbies. Be aware that I might tell you that your oil is good for cleaning, but it will not do much for your drain.

Oils that are more than a decade old may still be useful. If an oil is stale and has a lot of years, it can be a sign that it has been cut. This means that the essential oil they used to cut has gone rancid. The essential oils can still be used in therapeutic grade and 100% pure essential oils. They have been found in tombs that are thousands of years old. This does not apply to citrus essential oil. Citrus oils can last for between 2-5 years, depending on how they are stored. So now you have a basic understanding of oils.
